Back to Malaysia and Off to Thailand

Day 7 started with a trip to Groovy's local breakfast spot for an array of Malaysian fare. Everything was delicious (rawa dosa, edily, roti canai) and we overate, per usual. After breakfast, Groovy needed to go to the office for a bit so Manisha (Groovy's sister) took me to get a massage. After the massage, we went to Groovy's favorite lunch place for their specialty, rice with chicken and duck. With our bellies full, it was time to embark to Thailand.

As soon as I got a peak of Thailand out the plane window, I knew we were in for a special place. The drive to the resort confirmed that assumption as the scenery here is breathtaking. The huge limestone mountains on the mainland and off the coast in the ocean are simply amazing. We had a traditional Thai dinner at the resort and capped off the night by playing some ping pong. I went to bed anxious to explore more of this beautiful place the following day. The weather man said we were store for lots of rain while we were here, but we were hopeful and lucky that the it came and went rather than lingering all day.
